10月31日（金）17時から岡山キャンパスのカフェテリアにてハロウィーンパーティが行われました。

このパーティは、高梁キャンパスから留学生たちを招待し、岡山キャンパスの教職員と学生が準備と運営を行いました。

当日のプログラムです。カリフォルニア州出身のchucky先生が本場のハロウィーンパーティを説明されるところからスタートです。
仮装や化粧をして参加してくださいとのお誘いがありました。

History:
Chucky give a brief history and meaning of Halloween. (South American “day of the dead”, American, UK).
How to celebrate (jack-o-lanterns, trick-or-treat, Halloween snacks, etc.)

Game:
Pass the orange
-this game will have 2 teams. The teams will race to pass an orange with their chins only. It’s a fun traditional Halloween game in America.
ハロイーンの伝統的なオレンジ運び競争（2組に分かれて、ほっぺだけを使ってオレンジを隣の人にパスして行きます）

Piñata:
We will participate in breaking a piñata. Candy is inside, students hit it with a stick to try to break it and get the candy out. This is from Latin American culture, but it has become part of American culture too.
ピニャタ割競争：ピニャタを割って、中に入ったキャンディーをゲット！

Apple bobbing:
Students will try to get an apple out of a tub of water using only their mouth! This is a traditional activity for Halloween in America.
リンゴかぶりつき競争：水の中のリンゴを口でくわえて取り出しゲット！
